About Us
Dishatek’s history dates back to 1987 when the firm was established under the name of “Digital Aids’. The company was a pioneer in identifying the need to conserve energy and designed and launched energy conservation devices for the hospitality industry. The concept and the company’s products were very well accepted in the market and the client list grew very quickly to include most hotels in the Welcome Group Sheraton chain of hotels across the country – the company enjoyed an unrivalled position in this field, having added many 5-star hotels to its client list In 1991, the company developed and provided electronic safes to 5-star hotels. The company soon emerged as a pioneer in the field of security appliance and over time, expanded its product base to meet the needs of a varied customer base. The electronic safe product line includes burglar safes for residences and high quality, sophisticated fire retardant safes for the offices and commercial application. In 1997, the company upgraded its production facilities and shifted its focus entirely to security and safety products under the name Dishatek. Today, Dishatek manufactures a range of electronic safes under the brand name Vaultek that are marketed across India through a dealer network. Dishatek also manufactures safes that are sold by our distributor partners under their brand names. Dishatek’s competitive advantage lies in its indigenous design. Unlike other players, the company designs and manufactures its products on an end-to-end basis. The company has complete control over the quality of all key components of the safes – electronics, mechanical and plastic parts. The experience and expertise in designing and quick time-to-market creates flexibility for customization of products, as may be required. The company has, in recent times, expanded its range of security products to add intruder alarms and access control devices to emerge as a one-stop-shop for our customers’ complete security requirements. While some of these new products are being manufactured in-house, others are being sourced from manufacturers overseas. The company’s management and staff are well trained and highly experienced in the field of security devices. Some of the team members have trained at overseas facilities of suppliers, in addition to significant experience in developing, manufacturing, installing and servicing a wide product range. To meet ever-increasing demand for its high quality products, Dishatek has embarked upon an ambitious expansion of its production facilities. The company is currently evaluating equipment based on latest technologies and plans to finalize its vendors in the very near future. The expanded facilities will not only enhance the production capacity but more importantly, will further improve the quality and reliability of its products. This will enable Dishatek to consolidate its position as a provider of the latest and best products to its customers. Dishatek safes employ state-of-the-art technology and are easy to use – simply press a few keys. You no longer need to carry bulky keys to carry nor do you need to worry about losing them, and these safes do not need any wiring or messing up in your house or office. Dishatek safes are built around highly user-friendly electronics. Two codes (of maximum 9-digits each) can be stored and changed as many times as the user wants.
